We are a family that love playing games, the children really enjoy trying something new so when our latest parcel arrived as part of the Ideal Games Group the children couldn’t wait to try them out. We received three games but the children decided quite quickly which one they wanted to try first. They picked ‘Think Words’ first because they had seen it on the television.
Just recently the Bird household has been infested with bugs ….. and I am not talking about the ones that move and crawls around at high speed and scare the children. I am talking about the bugs from the educational section from Learning Resources. I have worked with Learning Resources for a number of years now, they are a company that are fairly local to me and make educational toys for children to use at home and at school. When they heard that Little Bird was diagnosed with ASD they instantly jumped to my rescue and provided me with a number of toys that would help him learn. We now keep in regular contact and I give them feedback of their fantastic products.
Today it has rained none stop and the children have been stuck inside all day, so it was the perfect opportunity for the Bird family to try out a new game that we have been sent to review. When it first arrived the children wanted to play it straight away and they have continued to play it with me over the last few weeks and with the weather against us today we got this one out once again.
My lovely sponsor for Britmums Live 2014 Learning Resources have sent us some of their products to review as we countdown to our trip to London. I will be posting the reviews over the next two weeks giving you a chance to look at what great products they have to offer you. Today I bring to you a brilliant little game that will help your little ones learn all about money its ….. Pocket Money Bingo.
Just recently Learning Resources sent Big Bird the Mental Blox to review, we were really looking forward to receiving it and when it arrived we couldn’t wait to try it out. Mental Blox is a critical thinking challenge that the whole family can enjoy. Its designed for children aged 5 years old + so the whole of the Bird family got to enjoy this one.
I don’t know about you but my favourite game show on the television when I was younger used to be Catch Phrase, I would love staying up on a Sunday night watching Roy Walker hosting the game. I would sit with my parents shouting out the answers at the TV as we watched Mr Chips recreated different phrases that we use everyday in our lives.
We’re a family that love sitting down and playing games together, its a great way of spending time with the children and having quality time with them. We were lucky enough to be asked to be part of the Ideal Games Group from John Adams and a few weeks ago we received a parcel containing three new games. The children were really excited to try them out, they have been working their way through the box and today we bring to you Gooey Louie.
