Nothing Says Easter more than a Lovely Half Leg of New Zealand Lamb

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Food and Drink, The Birds

Nothing quite says Easter more than a Lovely Half Leg of New Zealand Lamb. The children think Easter is about eggs, chocolate, bunnies and chicks but for adults or should I say for me and Mr M Easter is more about a lovely roast dinner. I was given a fantastic opportunity to cook an Easter Roast Lamb dinner following a recipe and then sharing it with my readers so here goes.

Discount Supplements Easter Treats – Gluten Free Cupcakes

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review - Food and Drink, The Birds

Last week I was offered the chance to try out a recipe for some Gluten Free Cupcakes. I have always wondered what Gluten Free cakes taste like so I thought I would give them a shot. One of the mums from my childrens school is Gluten Free and she posts lovely photos of cakes, biscuits and treats that she makes on her Facebook page and they are all Gluten Free and look lovely. Its something I have always wanted to try so I can compare them to my normal style of cupcakes that I make so this week I decided to make some Gluten Free Easter Cupcakes.

Candy Craft Chocolate Pen

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Arts and Crafts, Review - Food and Drink

Last week Big Bird and myself decided to join in with the celebrations over social media sites for #Nationalchocolateweek. We were sent a lovely parcel to help us on our way, the parcel contained a Candy Craft Chocolate Pen and some packs of yummy chocolate. It didn’t take me and Big Bird long to dive into the box and start melting down the chocolate so we could design our own chocolates using the chocolate pen.

ChillFactor

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Food and Drink

Have you ever been out with your children to a soft play area, ten pin bowling, fairground and seen the lovely bright coloured ice slushy drinks? If your children are anything like mine then you will know what I am talking about, my two love them, once they see them they do not stop asking for one. I am always put off of them because of the price as the normally come in at around £2-£3 pounds and I begrudge paying that for a drink, I am also put off by the amount of sugar and food colouring that goes into them. I am pleased to tell you that you don’t have to put up with all that asking anymore because there is an amazing drinks container that makes those drinks for you its called ….. ChillFactor.

Breville Halo+ Health Fryer

I have always been abit of a goddess in the kitchen, I take after my mother with that one and have always cooked for myself and the children homemade dinners using fresh vegetables and meat. From the moment my children started weaning onto food I started cooking for them and I pride myself on the fact that neither of my children have ever had one jar of baby food. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with giving babies jars of baby food it just wasn’t for me, I just couldn’t wait to cook fresh dinners for my babies. They have grown up having homemade food every night and I am so proud of them because both children are pretty good eaters and will try anything.

Celebrate Chocolate Week with Whittard

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Food and Drink

If you want to know how to win this woman over its simple, surprise me with anything made of chocolate. Yes I am a chocoholic, I am definitely guilty of that one and I’m happy to stand up and admit it. During the year there is always a reason to eat chocolate … whether its Christmas, Easter, Birthday’s, Valentines Day but with me any day is a chocolate day.

Camping Chef Stove from Campingaz

At the beginning of August the Bird family went on their first camping trip. Three months ago me and Mr M found a 8 man tent cheap in a clearance shop and decided to take all of the children camping. I am not normally a camping kind of girl because I like my home comforts to much but once we bought the tent I started to look forward to it.

Cadburys have Easter covered

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Food and Drink

With Easter just around the corner there is only one thing on my mind …. chocolate. Well to be honest chocolate is always on my mind I think of it as a side affect of being a chocoholic. The shops are full of chocolate right now ready for next Sunday. If I had a choice of what Easter Egg I wanted I really would not mind as long as it was Cadburys because its been my favourite chocolate since I was little.
