Our latest Lego challenge landed on our doorstep last week, I knew what was going to arrive but Little Bird didn’t and I couldn’t wait to see his face. On Wednesday the postman delivered a very special Scooby Doo themed package and my Little Lego builders face was a picture, he has not seen the Lego Scooby range before and was really excited when he saw it, he couldn’t wait to get on and start building it.
We were sent the Lego 75904 Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion to build and Little Bird got on with it straight away. This set comes with 9 bags of Lego, three manuals and a pack of stickers. There are 6 minifigures in this set which come with an assortment of weapons and accessories. The minifigures include Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Vampire/Bob Oakley, Ghost/Bluestone the Great, Black Knight/Mr. Wickles, plus my favourite Scooby-Doo.
This Lego Scooby Doo set is designed for children aged 6-12 years old, Little Bird build this set in about two hours as he is a Lego genius and works quickly. He never makes mistakes but if he does he is now old enough to work them out for himself using the instruction manual to see where he went wrong.
This set is amazing and has lots of quirky features that children will love, Little Bird loves activating the clock tower and spinning the wall around to reveal the Vampire. There is a kitchen and a green house in this set that makes the mansion have a spooky feel to it. Children can follow the clues to find the golden key and discover the stolen treasure. There is hours of play in this set, children will never get bored of it.
The Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion would make a brilliant gift for Halloween with its spooky feel and pumpkins. I love that Lego keep making items for their sets that I am not expecting like the pumpkins they are a great added extra to the Lego range.
If you would like to purchase the Lego 75904 Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion set you will be looking to pay around £69.99, prices may vary depending on where you shop.
