Xeno Pacific Blue

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Toys, The Birds

One toy Little Bird really wanted last Christmas but Santa did not get was Xeno. I first came across Xeno at Dream Toys in London at the end of  last year. When I first saw them I thought …. ewwww! I was instantly drawn to the long green snot that was hanging from his nose and knowing that Little Bird was a child thats grown up since he came off Baby Formula replused by anything green around anyones nose I was slightly surprised when this appeared on his Christmas list. When Little Bird went on his first school trip he had to move seats because one of the children had dry snot around his nose and it made Little Bird feel sick so I thought there was no way he would like this toy. I asked at Dream Toys if I could cut the snot off and was told no because it was one of the sensors that activates this toy.

Lego Hero Factory 44029 Queen Beast Vs Furno, Evo & Stormer

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Lego

This week Little Bird has been getting to grips with the Lego Hero Factory range, as we were sent the Lego Hero Factory 44029 Queen Beast Vs Furno, Evo & Stormer set to review as part of the Lego Blogger team. Little Bird can build any Lego set in no time at all, he is super quick and really loses himself when he has a Lego set to build. Nothing gets in his way or between him and the Lego when he is concentration on what he is doing.

LEGO Disney Princess 41055 – Cinderella’s Romantic Castle

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Lego

“When I grow up Mummy I want to be a Princess.” These were the words that my little girl came out with when she was two and a half years old. Big Bird is mad about everything Disney, especially Disney Princess so imagine how excited she was when she found out there is a Lego Disney Princess range out in the shops to buy. Being part of the Lego blogger programme is a job that my children love. Majority of products we are asked to review are aimed at boys ….. but not this one. Its definitely one for girls.

Oh yes they have arrived …….. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been shrunk down and transformed into Lego characters. Little Bird was really excited when he heard Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was now available in Lego. Little Bird is mad about Lego, its the one toy he spends hours building and then playing with, its funny how these little colourful bricks can keep someone amused for so long, especially my little man who finds it hard work to sit still.

We were recently sent a Brand New Lego Chima DVD to review and Little Bird couldn’t wait to put it on.

Woolly and Tig App

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Apps

The first official App from the hit Cbeebies show Woolly and Tig show is now here, children can have their very own interactive Woolly to play with. For those of you that do not know Woolly is a young child’s loving friend who is there to help, entertain and involve them in hours of fun, games, laughter and learning. Woolly will respond directly to a child’s touch and speak to them. Tickle him and he’ll laugh, hug him and he’ll love them back, stroke him and he’ll sleep.

Woolly makes everyday activities fun. Getting Woolly dressed, cleaning Woolly’s teeth or washing Woolly’s face is fun for children too. Woolly helps children learn with his hilarious jump and count as he interacts and shouts out numbers, he also loves to play in the sun, in the rain and in the snow. Whatever the weather Woolly will help children make the most of outdoor play.

My Blue Nose Friends Join in and Play Tatty Puppy

Written by mummybird. Posted in Review, Review - Toys

As you all probably know by now Big Bird is mad about anything Tatty Teddy, she received her first Tatty Teddy when she was a baby and then we came across it a few years ago at Dream Toys in London where she was given her first large Tatty Teddy and her collection has grown from there. In July I took Big Bird to London for a Christmas event in a large house and she was overwelmed when she discovered one of the bedrooms had been converted into everything Tatty Tatty. This room was filled to the top with Tatty Teddy toys and she was in her element as she looked through them all. My girl doesn’t miss a trick and she instantly spotted something that was soon to be her best friend ….. Tatty Puppy.
